Motion detection mode identifies any movement in front of the camera lens. It is necessary to have the camera turned on for this function to operate. Parking mode is directly connected to the G-Sensor and responds to any physical impacts. The camera does not have to be switched on, or connected to a power supply, for parking mode to operate. LAMAX cameras are able to remain for at least 24 hours in parking mode without any external power source.
